At the J.M. Nansel Ranch, technology has not surpassed us, but we have kept the pass alive by continuing to brand cattle as the first Montana Settlers did.

After a time of gathering, our friends and family get together for a fun filled day of working cattle. Kids young and old take their turn roping, throwing and branding the herd.

A lot of stories have begun at the branding and have been passed down and never forgotten.
